Osmio Pro 4.5 x 10 Inch Dual Whole House Water Filter System

The system will provide 5 micron nominal sediment protection and complete chlorine reduction using the NSF Certified 5 micron Carbon Block. Please note whole house filter systems are NOT for limescale, please see our softeners section. Whole house systems are usually combined with softeners (either salt or non-salt based) to achieve great results and reverse osmosis point of use system to achieve the complete gold standard of home treatment.

The Osmio Pro 4.5 x 10 Inch Dual Whole House Water Filter System is an advanced and high-quality solution for whole house water filtration. It includes all the necessary filters and accessories (excluding additional plumbing fittings) to ensure optimal performance. The system offers 5-micron protection and effective chlorine reduction using the NSF Certified 5-micron Carbon Block.

Included in the system are two black 4.5 x 10 Inch filter housings with Brass female 1" BSP screw ports, suitable for various pipe types and sizes up to 1" (15mm, 22mm, 25mm, 28mm). The housings come with screws, a sturdy metal bracket, and a housing spanner for easy installation. Additionally, a 1" male nipple (plastic) is provided to allow for side-by-side connection if desired. The system can be arranged to fit your available space.

The system features two filters:

1. Pleated 5m Sediment Filter: This surface filter effectively reduces suspended solids to 5 microns, including sand, particles, rust, silt, lead dust, and microplastics.

2. Coconut Carbon Block 5 Micron: With a 12,000 Iodine rating, this NSF Certified Carbon Block Whole House Filter is made from high-quality Indonesian coconut shells.

Both filters typically require replacement every 6 months.

The system not only provides clean and filtered water throughout your home but also offers protection to water heaters, washing machines, refrigerators, ice-makers, and other appliances by preventing sediment, dirt, and rust build-up.

Using the Osmio 4.5" x 10" Dual Housing, the system is assembled with a 10" Carbon block and 10" Pleated Cartridge.

Installation of the system is typically done at the point where the rising main enters the house or at any required intersection, such as the kitchen. Please refer to the demonstration video for a visual guide on the installation process, keeping in mind that the video showcases a 20-inch Whole House Water Filter System instead of the 10-inch version, but the principles remain the same.
